Why I volunteer
I volunteer at the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Boston chapter because it gave me the language and pride in my abilities that I needed to begin to advance in my career. I love supporting other analysts in their journey to finding the best fit for the application of their skills, educating analysts in how to talk about their skills, and educating those who manage analyst in how to recognize the level of skill presented.

Why I volunteer
Volunteering allows me to give back to the IIBA community and help foster Business Analysis and Agile practices in an informal setting. I love mentoring and helping all levels of BA and Agile professionals on their journey. No single path leads to the same outcome. But surrounding yourself with those looking to improve and continually grow in their profession if a great step. IIBA provides that environment to explore, connect and develop.

Why I volunteer
I volunteer with the IIBA Greater Boston Chapter because I believe professional development should be practical, welcoming, and community-driven. I’ve seen how the right language, tools, and support can help analysts grow their confidence and influence. In this role, I’m excited to create learning opportunities that will help members strengthen their skills, connect with peers, and continue progressing in their careers. My work with Special Olympics has also reinforced how powerful encouragement, inclusion, and teamwork can be—and I’m proud to bring that same spirit to our chapter.
